Hanoi Arrival

Arrival Flight: Guest’s own tickets

A warm greeting awaits at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International airport; your private guide and driver will meet you OUTSIDE the arrivals lounge and transfer you (approximately 45 minutes) to your hotel downtown Hanoi.

Please look for your tour guide who holds up your names on a welcome signboard.

 

(While every effort is made to have your room available upon arrival, check-in time is at 02:00 pm; your room may or may not be ready before this time. Your tour guide will provide additional details regarding your stay, and you will be able to ask any questions you may have.)

In the late afternoon, a culinary adventure takes you to taste sampling street food in the Old Quarter. It’s a great opportunity to try all those weird and wonderful foods you see but just aren’t sure what they are! The local brew is a plus point for this short trip. Find an open seat, do as the locals do: pull up a stool and enjoy a drink while watching the world go by at Bia Hoi Corner.

Continue to wander in the old quarter’s narrow streets as your guide points out a range of tasty noodles, bread, and snacks. Don't forget to bring the camera to take some beautiful shots of the local nightlife. The pavement Vietnam is really street food haven, not only for walking. End the night with dessert from Hanoi’s best-known ice-cream parlor before heading back to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour

Morning

Tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The first place in the journey is the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Here, your guide will provide visitors with information about the life and career of the great leader Ho Chi Minh. Then tourists continue to visit Ho Chi Minh Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, this one with unique architectural works built in the eleventh century (1049). Next, guests will visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda. Vietnam's oldest temple, built from the Ly Nam De (541_547) located on Thanh Nien street is a small corner of West Lake - one of the largest lakes in Hanoi. You eat lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon

Visit the Ethnology Museum, where you can look into a vivid picture of the miniaturized Vietnamese ethnic community’s life. then, you will visit the Temple of literature, the first University in the country's history, was built in 1070 by King LY Thanh Tong and also is Vietnam's first University with a fairly large scale. Literature was built to worship Confucius and Confucianism founder of Chu Van An - the first teacher of Quoc Tu Giam represents the moral philosophy of education in Vietnam. The last place in the journey is the Ngoc Son Temple. Being prominent in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple was built on a small island in the north of the Lake. Very few people know that the Temple experienced many periods to preserve the special and ancient beauty as today. And this is the last destination today, the driver will take you to back the hotel.

Day 3: Ninh Binh - Trang An & Mua Cave

Morning

Your guide will collect you from the hotel after breakfast, and then you'll be on your way to explore Ninh Binh's breathtaking mountain beauty. Ninh Binh, only 2 hours from Hanoi, is mostly unexplored despite its stunning limestone karst terrain and abundance of underground streams and grottos.

First, let's visit the Hoa Lu area, which is known for its extensive cultural heritage. Visit the Hoa Lu old capital, a pivotal site in the history of Viet Nam. The history of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, the country's initial capital, is detailed here. Learn about the extraordinary and one-of-a-kind architecture that can be found in some of the most well-known temples built by King Dinh and King Le, who both made significant contributions to the development of old land.

The lunch will be served at the local restaurant.

 

Afternoon

Take a boat excursion from the Trang An dock to have a memorable and enjoyable experience while in Ninh Binh. Trang An eco-tourism complex is the Unesco World Heritage site on your itinerary. This is a must-do activity during your time here. Being on your rowing bamboo boat, you will get the opportunity to explore various grottos filled with stunning stalactites and take in the breathtaking scenery of the Trang An Tour.

Take your time on a leisurely bike ride across the area, and as you ride through the backroads, you will see limestone karsts and beautiful vistas countryside. Our tour guide will introduce to you the local life. Arrive at Mua Cave Mountain, where a short hike leads to a spectacular overlook with a breathtaking view of the Ngo Dong River below, which winds around the high mountains. The view from the overlook is breathtaking.

After a great day, we come back to Hanoi city.

Day 4: Halong Bay Overnight Boat

There’s no better way to start the day than with a delicious and healthy breakfast. Then, your tour guide will pick you up at 8:00 am from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter area, in order to transfer you to Halong Bay and Quang Ninh province. Rest for 15-20 minutes, so you can get ready for one of the best adventures of your life.

At 12:30 we will arrive at the harbor were to get on the boat and start your adventure in the company of our friendly, experienced and professional crew.

At this point you will be hungry, that’s why you will be served an exquisite dinner while the boat continues on its way to our destination, while you crossing through the almost-infinite number of islands and islets. Without any doubts a truly magical experience.

After enjoying your delicious lunch, you can go to the upper deck so you can enjoy the beauty of the Halong Bay on all of its expression: natural, pure, magical and splendid.

Ready for some action? Then you can kayak around the floating village area for 1 hour, and yes, you can also swim, so you can simply relax, explore, dive and more!

Once the time has concluded, you will return to the boat for a pretty good sunset party on the sundeck. Here you will get to socialize with other visitors, and pretty much, just enjoy a nice time with soft good music and the majestic beauty of the Halong Bay.

This has been an amazing day, right? And there’s no better way of finishing it than by enjoying a delicious dinner cooked by our chef. After that, you are free to spend your time as you want, be it singing or simply relaxing. It’s your choice!

Day 5: Halong Bay & Da Nang

Start your day with a delicious breakfast of crunchy toasts, tasty eggs and a cup of aromatic coffee or tea. Once you are done, you will be ready for the adventure of the day: exploring the Cave.

It is a special place because it’s the most beautiful and captivating cave in Halong Bay. You will discover all about it thanks to your experienced guide tour.

After that, the boat will keep crushing many several islands and islets, so you can get a pretty good view of the magnificent beauty of Halong Bay… a unique place in this world you can only find in Vietnam!

Want to take part in a cooking class? Our chef will teach you how to make your own delicious deep-fried spring rolls, one of the emblematic dishes of this region. It is something you must experience!

Later, we will cruise back to the pier while you enjoy a tasty lunch. And then, it will be time to say good-bye to the boat crew and disembark.

Then we will take you to Hanoi by bus. We will arrive around 17:00 and then take a flight to the beautiful city of Da Nang.

You will stay overnight in this city, so have a good sleep, because more adventures await you on day 6!

Day 6: Bana Hill & Golden Bridge

The driver picks you up at your hotel and transfers to Ba Na Hill. You will admire the high by the most modem cable car system in Southeast Asia. You will visit the Dream Stream Cable Car Station. After finishing the first cable car, you will visit France wine cellar, exploring the golden bridge (Winding its way around a 150-meter course lined with flowers, a golden bridge shimmers against the Ba Na Hills, supported by a pair of giant hands.). You will see the panorama of Danang City. Have lunch and rest at the restaurant. After 1 day explores here, the driver takes you to Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An Farming & Fishing Local Experience

Let’s have a close-up view and intimate exposure to both the local farming and fishing communities. Accompanied by your tour guide, you commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities - coming and visiting a beautiful organic vegetable village, watering and planting vegetables, hoeing a soil with the local farmer. The photo opportunities are endless. As well you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Later you will board the boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while the waterways of coconut palm paradise. The lunch will be served at the local restaurant and that is also where a cooking class will open to make local foods. This tour provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities.

Day 8: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh city

Enjoy your breakfast. Let’s walk the ancient streets of Hoi An, lined with Chinese traders’ homes and wooden houses reincarnated as restaurants, cafés, and outlets for local artists, craftsmen, and tailors.

After check-out, transfer to Da Nang airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh. The drive will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Afternoon, a short tour will take you to visit Cu Chi tunnels. A legendary place in the Vietnam war. You really can not believe that people can live like this in the damp cellar and this little road during the later years of the Vietnam War. This trip offers a unique insight into the ingenuity behind the fighters, and a glimpse of underground life during the war. Take beautiful photos before returning to ho Chi Minh city.

Day 9: Mekong Delta

After breakfast, your guide and driver will collect you at your hotel in HCM City and onto some beautiful country roads to Ben Tre Town, where were popularly known as the “rice bowl” of Vietnam by vast rice fields, interlacing canal system, and beautiful landscapes.

It takes about 2-hour driving through the lush farming land to get Ben Tre town where you will board on a motorized boat trip around the scenic River, viewing various local industries along the way. During the boat ride, we will stop to visit the small local factories where coconut processing workshops and the local mat-weaving house. Visit a peaceful village where you can have a short walk to observe the real life of the locals and try fresh fruits, taste honey tea. Continue to visit a coconut mill workshop where the local delicacy of coconut candy is produced and a range of coconut husk and fiber products are skillfully handcrafted.

Next, take the Xe Loi ride (Moto car) or cycling tour to explore around the village under coconut row and vegetable orchard farms.

Finish your sightseeing tour then your guide will take you to a riverside restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, take a small sampan to row along the water coconut canals with beautiful scenery, gliding peacefully along the hidden waterways surrounded by an immense variety of tropical plants. The quiet, rural setting is a welcome and restorative retreat to the frenetic buzz of HCM City which seems far, far away. The bus will pick up at the pier and drive to Ho Chi Minh when the boat rows back.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Fly to Siem Reap (Cambodia)

After breakfast, check out the hotel and keep your luggage here. Then get the bus to visit the Reunification Palace, the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It witnessed the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. The nearby Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883, most materials for Saigon's Notre Dame Cathedral were imported from France. Neo-Romanesque in form, it is a major center of Catholicism in modern Vietnam, and one of the city’s major landmarks.

Next to the cathedral stands the Saigon Post Office, a classic structure, is still a functioning post office today and features huge ceilings, a giant portrait of Uncle Ho, and many beautiful details. Finish Ho Chi Minh sightseeing tour, you will be driven back to the hotel.  You can eat lunch around.

In the afternoon, you get a flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, you meet our driver to transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 11: Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm & Angkor Wat

Get up early and beat the crowd early morning by 7 am, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remain overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins.  The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.

Lunch will be served at the local restaurant.

Afternoon, explore the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom City & Bayon Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance, it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Further, visit the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lepper King Terrace and Royal Place area.

Day 12: Banteay Srey & Departure

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. Then the tour guide will pick up and transfer to Banteay Srey temple (35kam) - the Citadel of women. This Hindu temple, dating back to the 10th century, has three central towers each decorated with superbly intricate reliefs of male and female divinities, carved from pink sandstone contrasting with the main walls made of laterite. While many of Angkor temples are impressive because of their sheer size, Banteay Srei stands out by the quality of craftsmanship.

Have lunch at the local restaurant.

In the afternoon, flying back home or on to your next destination.
